IMPROVISED GATHERING AT THE APPARTAMIENTO AFTER THE BLOCKAGE ANNOUCEMENT - TUESDAY 6th

We ain't give up the project !

 PROJECT

Given the facts:

  • the intermittent blocking situation, which is that of our university Toulouse Le Mirail called Jean Jaurès;

  • multiple conversations about iDex records, mergers, and the ERO Act and the frequent (but not systematic) rejection they cause;

  • the prospect of a rotting situation and/or a loosening of the strike,

The initiators of this page announce the holding of a Creative-Contestation Workshop in the rooms of the Olympe de Gouges building, where the Plastic Arts - Design courses are usually held, the week of March 5,2018. This workshop is open to all students, students, BIATSS, freelancers, PhD students, teachers, lecturers and researchers.

It is not obligatory and is not intended to prevent those who so wish from holding their classes normally. On the other hand, it will replace the courses of the strikers involved.

It is a matter of coming together, discussing collective actions, and involving the teaching and student communities. This workshop format (therefore, production) aims to consider non-punishing strike strategies for students of plastic arts and design. It is open to anyone from other departments, on a voluntary basis, and in coordination with those involved in the workshop.
This renewable week also aims to see how our trainings can contribute to this moment of contestation under a creative and artistic prism, making it a moment of collective reflection, a moment of boiling point allowing us to allow ourselves to invest forms of contestation and why not invent them. It is also a matter of maintaining the link to our students, which is not possible with the strike format in which the student finds the door closed.

WHERE TO FIND US ?

Due to the total blockage of the university from Tuesday 6 March until the next AGM, not being able to access our rooms, we continue the workshop in the entrance of the reception building.
